A unified program for the registration of pets will be shown in Belarus. It is being developed by specialists of the Information Technology Center of the Minsk City Executive Committee together with the Minsk City Housing Authority. Detailed information for all registered animals will be entered into the program and updated.
According to the telegram channel “Housing and Communal Services Minsk Officially”, access to a single program for registration of pets, with the exception of organizations serving the stock of housing, will be available to specialists of settlements and reference centers. Information about new pets will be automatically sent to the RSC, this should simplify the calculation of the dog ownership tax. They plan to include in the program specialists from the City Fauna. This will make it easier to find lost pet owners.
Meanwhile, pets are manually registered in special journals.
Minsk Housing and Public Services also reminded that dogs and cats should be registered in the apartment. However, registration of animals of other species is not required.
To legalize the residence of an animal in an apartment, the animal must issue a veterinary passport, vaccinate it against rabies, and make a note of this in the veterinary passport. But owners of dogs of potentially dangerous breeds must attend cynology courses and obtain a special certificate.
Once everything is done, you need to come to the organization that serves your home, write a request for registration of a pet.
After that, the owner is given a sign, which, according to the rules, animals, both dogs and cats, must keep constantly. Can be attached, for example, to a collar.
The registration of adult dogs and cats in the place of residence in Belarus must be done within three days from the date of its appearance.
