Waffle cake with condensed milk is one of the simplest dishes that comes from childhood. However, many chefs are rethinking their favorite recipe by adding new ingredients. Lisa Glinskaya, for example, prepares butter cream from condensed milk and covers the cake with cream, and Hector Jimenez-Bravo recommends adding a banana and peanuts.

- Caramel – 2 cans
- Butter – 200 g
- Bananas – 1 kg
- Waffle cake – 1 pack
- Peanuts – 150 g
- Sea salt
Bake the peanuts until golden brown at 180 ° C. Cut the bananas into slices.
The butter should be at room temperature, beat with condensed milk until smooth.
“The most important secret of assembling a waffle cake is that each layer must be carefully painted, each waffle cell must be filled! For this it is suitable to be mounted with a cake table, ”advised the gastro expert.
Then coat each layer of waffle with cream and put bananas and, if desired, peanuts inside.
Then grate the peanuts with a fork or in a coffee grinder. Sprinkle peanuts on the last layer of the cake and spread the cream on the sides of the cake.
Refrigerate and let bake, ideally – one day. During serving, the chef advises to sprinkle with sea salt so that the taste is richer.
