recipe for cake with waffle
- 6 round wafers
- 150 gr nuts
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 200 g softened butter
- 250 g cherries (fresh or frozen)
- 100 g of sugar
Boil condensed milk: remove the paper packaging from the jar, place the jar in a saucepan and fill it with water so that it completely covers the jar. Cover the bottom of the pan with a textile napkin. Simmer for about 2 hours, adding more water if boiling. When the condensed milk is boiled, let the jar cool slightly and then open it with a can opener.
Put the cherries and sugar in a saucepan, simmer on low heat for 20 minutes. Beat the cherries with a blender until smooth, place on the fire and simmer for another 20 minutes. Allow the cherries to cool.
Mix the softened butter and condensed milk in a blender with a whip attachment.
Coat the waffle cakes alternately with cherries and condensed milk. Top and side cake with condensed milk.
Cut the nuts with a knife and sprinkle over the cake. Keep the cake in the refrigerator.
